The paintings of the artist Georgi Stanchev-Geo are distinguished by their original style and rich color. His canvases grab the attention with the masterfully applied splashes of color. Based on his many years of practice and experience gained over the years, he has mastered the oil technique and color ranges very well.

Geo works in a very wide range of styles, but there is definitely an impressionistic influence in landscapes and still lifes, and expressionism and cubism in figurative and abstract compositions. The colors he uses are intricately combined, at the same time bright, in some places azure and plastic, in others - classically restrained and monochrome. This is definitely one of the qualities of the artist plus good drawing which is definitely noticeable in the construction of any composition. Some of the author's paintings are realistic, others - abstract or a little surreal, but refracted through his original individuality and unique perception of the world.

Georgi K. Stanchev was born on 24.1.1957 in the village of Valcha Polyana, Yambol District. In 1976, he graduated from the Art High School - Kazanlak, majoring in "Painting". Married, with three children and currently lives in Varna.

He works in the field of graphics and painting, as a restorer in the district museum in Yambol. Participated in exhibitions in the city of Yambol, where he won the 2nd prize for painting. There are two solo exhibitions in the city of Plovdiv.

His paintings are owned by private collectors from Bulgaria, Israel, Germany, France, USA, Sweden, Russia, England, Greece, Japan, etc.
